haha annette rates herself so highly. don’t at all like her call out of position with threes. she’s only ever seeing overcards to her pair on the flop, it’s a raise or fold position.

so basically she misplayed 1/2 important hands. and why does she bother with the makeup? she still looks like a chubby 14 year old

Annette knows europe can lose one and then win the next one for the win anyway. She knows USA has to use their best headsup player first, then if europe loses she can put europe’s best player against USA’s 2nd best. Good tactical move.

But if the flop are low overcards, can’t she then, depending on her read, assume the board was unlikely to help Huck, based on his preflop raise, which then makes her a 3 to 1 favorite against him not hitting on the turn and river, so she can just bet out strongly on the flop to take down the pot?

This playing structure is god awful, but I guess a structure more conducive to “real” poker would mean 20 hrs of playing and not good tv.
